Southpole down jackets
It`s been almost 15 years ago now, I took photos with a girl named Anne. When we went through her closet before our home shooting, my eyes caught a blue/pink down jacket from the Southpole brand. I asked her to wear it on the shooting and she agreed. Being in love with the photos, I tried to find such a jacket for my own collection. When another shooting with the lovely girl Nicole came up, I leveraged my knowledge and asked Anne to borrow the jacket to me. Without ever finding the real one I was looking for, time passed by. Years later, I had already moved to another city, the object of desire finally found me. When grabbing through clothes in a local vintage store, a little piece of pink fabric glimpsed out in a corner. With a flash of inspiration, I asked my girlfriend to have a look if she finds something interesting there and she returned with that Pink/Blue Southpole jacket I was looking for for ages. Blue swimsuit – Pattys little secret
Number of photos / videos 46 I really do love home shootings. This time it was Patty inviting me to her apartment to take photos in her own home zone. Strangely this really kicks me every time. Not know how it looks there, but knowing I will see the girl’s drawer or things she thought we could use. Same with this lovely blue swimsuit Patty take out of her sports clothes box, she opened it and at the first sight my eye caught the blue shiny spandex fabric Surely this suit had a history to tell. During her younger days, she was practicing high diving at our local swim club. This blue swimsuit was all that was left from this career as she quit due to a shoulder injury. She never had the heart to throw it away, so it remained in her box of clothes. Only during summer days, she took it out and went to the beach wearing it. She admitted to me, she loved the way this swimsuit hugs her body and the feeling of the fabric when moving her hands over it. Anyhow, when she appeared with the swimsuit from the dressing room, it was a gorgeous view. While she made a good look in normal clothes, this little bit of blue nothing revealed her well-shaped body. Even now, years ater the shooting, I remember the moving of the fabric on her body and the sound it made, when she rubbbed her hands over it or snipped the fabric to show it`s stretchiness. Red Nylon Techno Pants and Buffalos
Number of photos / videos 35 If I would have to name a favorite model of mine, Alexa would be on the list for sure. Meeting her first time in a public place, where she was running some catering, she did not get my attention initially. A few days ago, she responded to one of the local ads I place, looking for new models. When we met, for this reason, I did not get, why she pitched under my model radar the first time. When she arrived, turning around the corner, I was surprised when she wears red nylon techno pants and rare black buffalo tower shoes. Remembering those days, I can`t help to think about a lot of girls like her wearing these special clothes. It was quite normal during this time. Nowadays, this would not be socially accepted I think, please change my mind if you have positive examples. Back to the story, when we arranged the shooting and talked about her styling. When it came to the clothing, she named a lot of clothes in her drawer, which perfectly fit the idea of the shooting. On the day we had the shooting, she arrived with that beautiful red nylon techno pants. She wears that black Buffalo tower shoes as well, of course. It`s been an eye-opener for that shooting, perfectly setting the direction. Obviously, she was into that kind of clothes, as her bag was filled with a lot of similar gear. When we are talking about the first photo set, she suggested just wearing another top at first. Perfectly said and done, the first pics just fly in the camera, literally spoken. Besides some nice lingerie shootings, he showed me from this summer, this one with a blonde gothic girl in leather leggings really stand out. Her natural shy look really snatched my attention. When I crawled through his offered collection, I came back to this set quite often. So even if I don`t have a lot of gothic content here usually, I really wanted to show you this. Like many of you, I was always a fan of tight shiny spandex clothes. No matter if leggings, leotards, tops, or bottoms. In the late years of 2010, I find the gothic scene moves to more fetish related clothing. More and more stores offering shiny PVC, leather, or spandex garment in gothic style. So often gothic girls wear shiny and tight pants to corsets or dresses. Like Emma does it here too, together with the black platform boots, she`s a perfect goth girl. Watching all those almost 500 photos of her, made it hard to select the best for this posting. After a few more hours of selecting photos, retouching the colors and light, I`m done. Red latex catsuit on model newbie
60 When meeting Samira for the first time in the early 2000s, I never expected her to wear a red latex catsuit like this. She got in contact with me on an ad I placed in a city newspaper. Her first SMS sounded very shy, so I almost rejected the contact. But as the response to the ad was not that good, I met her. At the coffee bar with her, she wasn`t shy at all. She turned out to be very self-reliant, a young woman with dreams and a plan to reach it. Even if there were still some days until we had the first shooting, I already knew what I wanted to see her wearing. On the shooting day, she arrived with a big bag of clothes and shoes. Being a smaller person in size, she wears high Buffalo tower shoes almost all the time. So, surprisingly, she had 5! pairs of high shoes in that bag, together with some shiny cloth. Also, her hair changed from blonde to black since we first met a few days ago. Working through the clothes and sets I had in mind for this shooting, she found that red latex catsuit in my cloth pile. I did not recognize her taking it aside into the dressing room. So I was positively surprised when she returned to the shooting room, dressed like this. Closing this catsuit was not so easy, even for a small person like she is, it`s almost impossible to close the suit by yourself if you are in. So she asked me to pull the zipper up, which I did, knowing this suit will make it hard for her to breathe, putting some pressure on her throat. But she handled that very professionally, no complaints, no words about it. Just doing her acting and posing for the camera. I still take my hat off for that habit, it`s not common sense. CMP Downjacket and LovelySally Leggings
39 Who knows CMP or Campagnolo, is aware of the great quality and craftsmanship these down jackets have. Each of the CMP downjackets is very fluffy and warm, while being made of shiny and soft nylon. I had the luck to get my hands on a wrapper like this and have to admit, it`s worth every Euro. Same with Lia, when she gets her hand on the CMP downjacket. She told me, she loves the soft touch and the nearly instant warm feeling when she pulled the jacket over. Despite other down jackets, this one got warm within seconds form her body heat. Incredible! As the leggings, she is wearing, is also something special, this whole set is exceptional for me. Years ago, I followed a leggings brand named “Lovely Sally”. They created outstanding designs with high-quality fabric. Not that cheap, but quality first. When I sorted the market in my city, I stumbled across an ad offering a pair of leggings from that brand. Almost for the original price, but it was totally worth to try to get it. With that in mind, I contacted the seller, days later I managed to arrange a meeting and pick-up this special garment. Even in 2020, this outfit on the set did not lose it`s charm to me. I still love that incredible shiny look of the jacket and remember the soft touch of the leggings fabric as well. Black latex ravebabe in platform boots
Number of photos / videos 49 It`s been a few years ago since I took these photos. In fact, these photos I made in the year 2001, during the hot summer. During this time I was a friend with a bar owner, he knew about my business and offered me his bar as a location. As he came upstairs after a while, we just were shootings this black latex ravebabe set. This really made him smile. It was my model that had the idea for this set, having her black platform boots with her, she grabbed that black latex dress from my luggage and dressed like this. With her red hairs, she was just looking stunning in that outfit. I tried to work with the natural light inside the bar, without flashlights or a static light set. It worked out, but not perfect. Fighting with the camera and the available light, I just could check the real results afterwards. As just one series of many, I took on this day, it`s one of the three series that remained in my archives. I am happy to share this with you. Number of photos / videos 47 I had these blue satin shorts in my closets a longer time before having this shooting with Anna. As it was her first shooting ever, I did not want to use too many strange things. Going through the clothes selection on this day, made me pick out this satin shorts and spandex leotard. At the studio location, we sorted the sets to shoot and she did really like shine and soft fabric of the shorts. So when we started shooting it, she felt pretty well in that. You can see that on our photos as well. She`s been smiling and posing very nice, giving you some pretty nice views on her gorgeous body. When we ended this set, she asked if she could take the shorts with her. Usually, I don`t say no when it`s some clothes that I can replace easily. But it`s different with these shorts, it was hard to get them and so I rejected her offer. Another chance for another girl to wear them. Number of photos / videos 93 As I was searching for special downgear, my search let me find this beautiful red puffer downcoat. On a french website, this one really caught my attention. The photos were not that pretty, but I guessed how it would look. When the package arrived and I opened up the big box, my expectations were fully met. The light weight coat has a noble shine, and a very good workmanship. Really a high-price boutique coat, bought for a bargain price. That lovely red downcoat was one of the highlights at the outdoor shooting I did with Cesara. Her outfit, black leather leggings, and brown leather boots matched that downcoat perfectly. When shooting this in an old factory area, we had some stroller passing by. Cesara received a few very nice comments about that look from them, as we talked about the location and the photo shooting we did. 94 Being a photographer is not the easiest job on the planet. Many of you may think – hey that guy is so lucky, having all these beautiful girls in front of his camera. They wear what he says like down jacket and purple spandex leggings. But friends, I can tell you, life can be hard. For the photo series here, I fought years to get the release rights. How can that happen, you are asking rightly so. When I arranged the shooting with this girl quite a time ago, everything was fine. She agreed on the clothes, she agreed on the topic and the budget. We knew each other for a long time, so I did not think something problematic with her. Unfortunately, I forget the model release papers at home when driving to her city. No big deal usually, I send it by post or mail to print out afterwards. As I tried the same with her, she started to block communication. First of all, she didn`t reply to my messages, after sending the release on paper once again, I tried to call her. We argued a little on the phone and suddenly she told me, she won`t sign because of some private matters. I tried to talk her into signing several times, of course, but no way into. Almost 3 years after I took these lovely pictures of her, presenting down jacket and purple spandex leggings, I visited her city for other reasons. And now guess who ran into me when I had my meeting in a public coffee? Yeah, life can be such a sucker. Apparently I took the chance and walked over to her, started talking about old times and long time no see and so on. It was quite obvious to me, this was kind of awkward for her. Without much around, I ask her if she remembers the promise she made me on our last meeting. On a napkin, I got some short sentences from her, where she releases the photos for me. Ballet pants and ballerinas
Number of photos / videos 46 Years ago I did a shooting with a model called Drea. We met in Hannover, which is a city almost central in Germany. In lack of a studio or another usable location, we decided it`s good to have a home shooting at her place. To start off this set, I asked her to wear a shiny nylon ballet pants and matching ballerina shoes. Of course, pants were not a problem as I had them with me. The ballerina shoes she took, surprisingly, out of her drawer. I just looked at the shoes and was amazed, these were professional ballerinas, no fashion ones. In generally that`s not typical for a model to own such items. Therefore my next question was, where did you get that from? Her explanation surprised me, frankly speaking, she once had a boyfriend that loved to see her as a ballet girl. When they split up, she kept some of the stuff they used for fun. In other words, sometimes you got to be lucky as a photographer. Said and done, combined with that shiny spandex milky way leotard from her wardrobe, we started to take photos. She perfectly understood my “needs” for this series, presenting the shiny nylon ballet pants and the leather ballerina shoes. It really helps if your model has some “special” interest too. Adidas spandex leotard
Number of photos / videos 49 In my early photographer days, I used to work in music clubs or discos and use them as location before the party starts. In 2004, I got to shoot in another city with a girl I booked on a regular base. Upfront the shooting I tried to get a reasonable location there. The hunt was pretty hard, the result was almost zero after all. Lucky me, Nadine (the girl you see here in the Adidas spandex leotard) asked one of her ex-boyfriends. At that time he was involved in running a music club and this is how we got into the place. Nadine was pretty much in shape in 2004, working out regularly and dancing on the weekends for living. You can see that on the photos, the Adidas spandex leotard is extremely tight-fitting on her body. The shiny spandex fabric reveals more than it hides. The bright blue gives a nice contrast on the white front application. To admit, the leotard was not cheap when I bought it. Adidas professional line is hard to get and they also demand a lot of money for that gear. But as you can see on the photos, it`s worth every cent! When we arrived at the club, there were two guys working on the scene, repairing something. The room was filled with hammer blows and construction sound. Things changed in the second Nadine entered the scene dressed like this – silence and staring eyes from the guys. Yellow downcoat – Fanny by Pamy
Number of photos / videos 67 When shooting these photos with Ella outdoor a few months ago, I just received this yellow downcoat from a dear friend. The downcoat is a Fanny from Pamy, hard to get these days. Special in this colour, it was not sold often. Ella, wear that black latex style leggings and variegated Adidas sneakers instantly felled in love with the colour of the coat. “It`s so awesome bright and shiny – I LOVE IT!” she said to me. Once she wears it, she realised it was a little too big for here. So I am now looking for a yellow downcoat in size S for her to give for the next winter. Being so bright and shiny, passing by pedestrians could not prevent staring at her. As I first met her 3 years ago, she was shy, she would have turned red like a tomato. But lucky me, these times are over, so self-confident she smiled at the people and waved at them. Megan in a shiny Moncler
Number of photos / videos 930 Sometimes, when you least expect it, the biggest coincidences happen. In this case, it was Megan I happened to meet a few months ago. I met her when I bought my coffee in Cologne. Megan in a shiny Moncler jacket attracted my attention. I took my courage together and spoke to her. Interestingly, she was very open-minded about my concerns. After a bit of small talk, I asked her if I could take some pictures of her in the jacket. Completely surprisingly she agreed and after I had taken about 10 pictures with the mobile phone, we exchanged telephone numbers to arrange a real photo shooting on my next visit. On my next trip to Cologne I had a whole suitcase with Moncler down jackets and coats, which I had borrowed. Megan was very delighted when I spread out the many shiny pieces in front of her. She picked out some jackets and we went to shoot photos in a park. Megan in a shiny Moncler jacket really attracted some attention. She enjoyed it visibly and felt very comfortable. I could see how she blossomed more and more and liked herself in her role. After we had well over 1000 pictures in the box, we headed home. At my hotel room, we looked at the result together and sorted the photos.
