Now as Buffalo released new or better, reworked editions of their famous tower shoes, I always think of my shootings using them. When I checked my collection of photos, this series caught my attention pretty fast. My favourite model Nadine in one of her sexy party outfits from the early 2000s. That almost complete shiny nylon outfit completed with Buffalo towers and a fashionable cap made her stand out the crowd on every party. Once I had the chance to party with her on a private rave, where she dressed like this. The guys were staring at her, the girls were jealous, of course.
That party came into my mind when planning that shooting with her. So I asked if she could bring that outfit along, with the other clothes she`d thought of. When she joined me in my home studio like that, I was more than pleased. What you don`t get at the club, the rustling sound of the shiny nylon. Especially the black jacket had a very pleasant sound and it felt pretty nice too. The Buffalo towers she was wearing that day were quite new. She`d bought that pair just a few days ago as her old black ones almost diverged after such a long time of intensive wearing.
Nowadays, when I look at those photos, I am really saddened those golden times are over. Still having access to these photos is a gift, so I want to share that with you.
